1 · From the app, in three steps

This is the quickest way, and it deletes everything right away.

1. Open Ubisia and tap the round account icon at the top of the home screen.
2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
3. Read what will be deleted, and confirm.

2 · If you no longer have the app installed

Write to privacy@ubisia.com from the email address of your account, asking us to delete it. We reply within one month, as the GDPR requires, and usually within a few days. If you write from a different address we may need to ask you something more to be sure the account is yours: that is a protection for you, not an obstacle.

3 · What gets deleted

• The account and the identities you sign in with (Apple, Google, email).
• The archive synced to our servers: sites, places, rooms, containers and items.
• The photos kept in the backup.
• The usage data collected by the app and linked to your account.

Deletion is immediate and permanent: there is no period in which the account stays suspended and can be recovered.

4 · What stays, and for how long

• The archive on your phone stays. Ubisia works without an account too: deleting it removes what is on our servers, not what is on your device. To remove that as well, uninstall the app.
• Database backups overwrite themselves and are gone within 15 days; our server logs, which contain the IP address of each request, within 15 days.
• The messages you have sent us stay in our mailbox for as long as needed to handle your request.

5 · If you signed in with Apple

After deletion, Ubisia may still be listed among the apps connected to your Apple ID. You can remove it from your phone: Settings → your name → Sign in with Apple → Ubisia → Stop using Sign in with Apple.
